Sioux City Museum and Historical Association: Founded to assist in expanding the educational activities of the Museum.
Today, the Association provides the financial support necessary to offer a wide range of programs and exhibits to the community and welcome thousands of visitors each year.
While each location has a donation box for visitors, admission to the Sioux City Public Museum and Sergeant Floyd River Museum & Welcome Center is free, meaning additional support is needed.
Your membership supports not only the Sioux City Public Museum downtown, but also the Sergeant Floyd River Museum & Welcome Center and Peirce Mansion.
The Sioux City Museum and Historical Association is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Your donation and endowment gifts allow us to continue to provide free admission to both our sites.
Donate an Artifact
Donated artifacts are usually cataloged and stored until they are needed for research or exhibitions. Among the items of interest are:
Sioux City-related photographs
Sports or company uniforms
Sioux City-made items or memorabilia.
If you have a piece of Sioux City history that you would like to donate, please contact the Museum's Research Center.
The value of the donated item may be tax-deductible. The Custody Receipt can be completed in advance, or with our help if you prefer.
